Picture 6

Picture 7

In my first set of pictures, I really focused on trying to clarify the texture. I brought the clarity up to 100% for basically all my pictures. I wanted people to focus on the different textures of the images and not the colors. I wanted my first picture very bright and my second picture a little darker. I angled my camera to make it look like you're looking down on the third image. Images four and three I really struggled with trying to edit them. I couldn't find two images with different texture that looked good together. I couldn't find the balance between the images so you good still see them both. In the end, I decided to put together a bumpy rock with holes and a wood surface together for image four. In image five I managed to put together a marble surface and an image I took of grass. In the end, I felt that I did fairly well with my double exposure images. Picture six was hard but I managed to make the weird grass look good on the hands. Picture seven was inspired by David Hockney. David Hockney inspired the idea of joiners. He basically took a single picture and edited portions of the picture to make a collage. The collage is portions of the same image, but all edited differently. Overall I think that my favorite image is number six. I think that the idea with the hands resting on the tree and the grass went together really well. Overall I am very proud of my collection of textures.
